2008 Rottefella NTN Freeride

Rottefella binding.

Rottefella's first NTN (New Telemark Norm) binding, developed with Scarpa and introduced in 2007: it gives a telemark skier the edge control, step-in simplicity and sideways release of an alpine binding while keeping the heel free. Spring Power Tubes adjust flex and release, the binding position adjusts along the mounting plate, and a ski brake is included. Today it is sold as Freeride, for groomed-piste carving and a favourite on the telemark World Cup, in short and long lengths for NTN boots. A Colour Edition ran in 2014-17.
