Reciprocal benefits
How reciprocal benefits work
A reciprocal benefit is extra skiing that comes with a pass you already hold. Buy a season pass at your home resort and it may also get you free or discounted days at other resorts, without buying anything else. They are different from multi-resort passes like Epic, Ikon or Indy, which are products you buy to ski many resorts.
Three kinds
Reciprocal groups
Resorts that honour each other's season passes. A qualifying season pass at any member gets you days at every other member.
Example: Powder Alliance, Freedom Pass
Season-pass partners
One resort's own partner list. It works one way: holders of that resort's season pass get days at its partners, not the other way round.
Example: Cooper, Diamond Peak, Sundance
Bonus resorts
Extra days that come with a multi-resort pass at resorts that are not on the pass itself, such as Ikon Bonus Mountains and Power Pass partners. The list is set each season.
Example: Power Pass partner resorts
Before you go
- Check which pass qualifies. Many programs cover only full season passes; midweek, night, college and some child or senior passes are often left out.
- Check the days. Most give a set number of days at each partner. Some share one pool of days across several resorts.
- Check blackout dates and reservations. Holidays and busy weekends are often excluded, and some partners ask you to book ahead.
- Bring your pass. You usually collect a free ticket at the partner's ticket office by showing your season pass and ID.
- Programs change every season. Partners join and leave each year, so confirm with your home resort before you travel.
Find where your pass works
On the resorts page, pick My season pass is at… and choose your home resort. The map and list show every partner it reaches and the route for each, such as a reciprocal group or your resort's own partner list. Or browse the reciprocal groups and partner lists directly.
Each benefit on this site carries its season and the official page it came from. Our list grows as resorts publish their partner programs; if your resort's program is missing, its season-pass page is the place to look.
