2013 Rottefella Freedom
Rottefella binding.
The NTN binding for off-piste and touring, launched in January 2012 for the 2012-13 season as the backcountry complement to the Freeride. It is lighter (under 1,500 g a pair), with a low-resistance walking mode and a 60 degree opening angle, a rotation point 22 mm behind the boot tip, and two climbing-bar heights (35 and 65 mm). Blue (medium) or green (soft) Powerbox springs adjust flex and release, and a ski brake is included (95 mm today). Compatible with NTN boots. A Colour Edition followed in 2015.
