On Mount Ascutney in Brownsville, West Windsor, the old resort closed in 2010 and the town bought the land in 2015. Volunteer non-profit Ascutney Outdoors brought lift-served skiing back with a rope tow and later a donated T-bar, and adds family tubing, backcountry skiing on the old trails and cross-country routes.
