Bald Mountain Ski Area

In the Clearwater Mountains of north-central Idaho, along the Gold Rush Historic Byway, Bald Mountain has been run by the volunteer Clearwater Ski Club since 1959 on land leased from Potlatch. A T-bar and rope tow serve a family-friendly hill with some steeper runs, kept going by donations and ski swaps.
