On the Continental Divide north of Bemidji, family-owned Buena Vista cleared its first run in 1936 and officially opened in 1949. Short intermediate runs with names like Yoodler’s Meadow and Beltrami’s Bowl suit families, with a tubing hill, a chalet and an annual ski swap.
