Chamois is a car-free village in Valle d’Aosta, reached by cable car from Buisson in the Valtournenche. Its slopes are almost all intermediate, quiet and sunny, served by chairlifts from the village, and the absence of road traffic gives the whole place an unhurried, old-Alpine feel that suits families and relaxed cruisers.
