Wrapped around its alpine lake above Orsières in the Pays du Saint-Bernard, Champex-Lac is a small village ski area with plenty of charm. Chairlifts and drag lifts serve mostly easy slopes, and the village lies on the route of the classic Haute Route ski tour from Chamonix to Zermatt.
