Erie County’s Chestnut Ridge Park, in Orchard Park south of Buffalo, has a small ski hill with a tow rope next to its toboggan chutes. The slope is for skis and snowboards only, natural snow does most of the work, and skiing is allowed even when the tow isn’t running.
