Glungezer

Above Tulfes on the sunny side of the Inn Valley, just outside Innsbruck, the Glungezer climbs by gondola and the Tulfein Express into high, open terrain. Long, mostly intermediate runs suit relaxed cruisers, while the summit draws ski tourers toward the Glungezerhütte. The Zirbenweg, through the Alps’ largest stand of Swiss stone pine, starts up here, and there’s a toboggan run too.
