Las Araucarias (Formerly Llaima)

On the slopes of the Llaima volcano near Vilcún, within sight of the monkey-puzzle forests of Araucanía, Las Araucarias is a small Chilean ski area with a strongly advanced bent. A chairlift and drag lifts serve open volcanic terrain and runs such as the Gran Bajada.
