Beside Meadowlark Lake high in the Bighorn Mountains, above Ten Sleep Canyon, this small national-forest area has served the Bighorn Basin for decades. Gentle groomers such as Powder River make it a family mountain with a lodge, cabins and lessons, and the new owners who bought it in 2026 have pledged to keep it small and local.
