Snowboarders flock to this resort in the hills above Gujo in Gifu, drawn by CHIKEI PARK, a park built around the mountain’s natural rolls and banks. Its signature run, one of the longest in western Japan, winds all the way down from the summit, giving beginners and cruisers a proper top-to-bottom journey while stronger riders hunt the steeper side runs.
