In Lee, northeast of Bangor, family-oriented Mount Jefferson was built in 1964 by local investors and has been owned by Kevin Zimmerman since 2016. T-bars, a handle-tow beginner slope, tubing, lessons and ski patrol serve mostly gentle runs; in 2026 the area was put up for sale.
