Whitehorse’s ski hill opened in 1993 after a push by local skiers, and it hosted alpine events at the 2007 Canada Winter Games. Its chairlift serves a mix of groomers and glades, plus a snow school, adaptive programs and uphill nights. It’s run today by the nonprofit Friends of Mount Sima Society.
