Mount Waterman

High on the Angeles Crest Highway in the San Gabriel Mountains, Waterman dates to a 1939 rope tow and opened one of California’s first chairlifts in 1941. Its steep, natural-snow terrain made it a cult favorite with Los Angeles skiers, but it has sat idle since 2024 and was listed for sale again in 2026.
