Nurtau

Out in the hills beyond Ust-Kamenogorsk in East Kazakhstan, Nurtau is a small mountain base where drag lifts serve a couple of main slopes plus a learning area. Much of its terrain is ungroomed freeride ground, and the base adds cottages, tubing, a banya and snowmobile outings for families staying the weekend.
