Poiana Brașov

Brasov, Romania · 19.5 km of runs, 8 lifts, top 1772 m

Romania’s most famous ski resort sits at the foot of Postăvarul, just above the old city of Brașov, and hosted the country’s first ski competition in 1906. Gondolas and cable cars reach the top, from where Drumul Roșu winds down as the long, easy way home and steeper runs like Lupului test advanced skiers. The lit Bradul slope adds evening skiing.
