Powderhouse Hill Ski Area

Owned by the Town of South Berwick and run entirely by volunteers, Powderhouse Hill has pulled skiers up its rope tow since around 1939. With no snowmaking it opens only after real storms, and then southern Maine families turn out for trails like Paul’s Path, evening sessions and a wood stove in the little lodge.
