Mamison is a new mountain resort in the Mamison gorge of North Ossetia, deep in the Caucasus in the Alagir district. A gondola and chairlifts serve a spread of easy, intermediate and steeper runs in a high, remote valley, with ancestral stone towers and mineral springs nearby to explore off the slopes.
