In the heart of the Pindus range, on the mountain that divides Grevena from Ioannina, Vasilitsa has run as a ski centre since 1975. Black pines frame its mostly intermediate runs, its snow is good enough to open plenty of off-piste routes, and some slopes are lit for night skiing.
