High on the Šar Mountains above Tetovo, Popova Šapka is one of North Macedonia’s oldest and most popular ski areas. Chairlifts and drag lifts serve open slopes with plenty of intermediate cruising and some steeper lines, including the FIS run on Ceripashina, and there is lots of room to explore off-piste after a storm.
