The Grande-Ourse sector in the Parc régional de la Forêt Ouareau, near Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci, opened in 2024 as Lanaudière’s first mountain-skiing site. There are no lifts: an approach trail climbs to a heated hut on top, and skiers descend through intermediate and steeper glades like L’Ours qui tousse.
