Rising straight out of Oberstdorf in the Allgäu Alps, the Nebelhorn is a big, steep mountain served by a cable car from the valley. Long descents, including a run all the way back to town, and plenty of advanced and off-piste terrain make it a mountain for strong skiers, with views over hundreds of Alpine peaks from the top.
