Locals call it Heggmyrane, or simply Heggis: a community-run ski center at Hafslo in Sogn, kept going by thousands of volunteer hours each year. Beyond the family slopes it has a strong freeride reputation, with lift-served off-piste terrain, speedriding, groomed cross-country trails and what the club bills as Norway’s longest platter lift.
