Tufandag Mountain

On the southern slopes of the Greater Caucasus just above Qabala, Tufandag is one of Azerbaijan’s modern ski resorts, opened in the early 2010s. Gondolas carry skiers up through the forest to open, intermediate-friendly runs with wide views over the valley, and the lifts keep turning outside the ski season for sightseers.
