Above Terchová in Slovakia’s Malá Fatra, Vrátna is one of the country’s highest ski areas. An eight-seat gondola climbs toward Chleb, opening up the main ridge and some steeper gullies, while the Paseky sector below has family-friendly runs and a children’s zone. It’s also one of Slovakia’s best-known ski-touring areas.
