Slovakia’s biggest vertical runs down the southern flank of Lomnický štít in the High Tatras, from the saddle of Lomnické sedlo to the town of Tatranská Lomnica. Cable cars climb past the Skalnaté pleso tarn, a separate car reaches the summit itself, and the steep slope off the saddle and the Francúzska mulda draw freeriders, while long cruisers suit everyone else.
