2018 Aluflex Barbapoudre
Aluflex ski — dimensions 140/106/125 mm, radius 25 m m.
Aluflex's emblematic wide ski, created by Denis Rey when wide skis were a novelty. Built for deep snow and slush, yet it still carves hard snow like any Aluflex. Classic camber, tip rocker, raised tail. Lengths 180–204 cm; 140-106-125 mm and 25 m radius at 188 cm. Built to order in Haute-Savoie by Shapers Alpins in a choice of four constructions and many top-sheet designs; the image shows the plain aluminium version. Listed by Skipass for 2021 with the same shape; the second image shows the top sheet pictured then. The current renders were uploaded to Shapers Alpins in 2017, so this graphic runs from the 2018 season.
